Mark Boat Driver Training - April 27th

Are you interested in operating the mark powerboats, but unsure how to do it?  (Mark boats provide support to the race committee during club racing events and typically have one person operating the powerboat and another person on-board to set race course marks.)

A hands-on class will be held on April 27th to train anyone interested in operating a mark powerboat.  The class will cover basic powerboat operations such as launching, getting underway, rules of the road, docking and stowing/retrieval.  The class will also cover powerboat safety equipment, rescue operations and radio etiquette.  Click the following link to sign up for Mark Boat Driver Training.

Additional training is scheduled on May 11th to learn about Mark Boat Race Operations such as the different types of marks used on a race course, where each mark is positioned on the course, how to inflate and set marks in the water, moving marks, etc.
