Spring/Fall Work Parties

Every spring on the first Saturday in April, and every fall on the first Saturday in November the ISC has a Work Party where all ISC members are asked to volunteer to help prepare the Club's facilities and grounds for the upcoming sailing season. There are many tasks to tackle, including repairing docks, launching the powerboats, thoroughly cleaning the Clubhouse, bringing equipment out of storage, clearing landscaping of debris and dead plants, clearing and prepping beach areas, removing shrink-wrap and rigging Club sailboats. Many members bring their own supplies, especially the landscape teams. Look for an email with more information and details. Also, check the calendar by doing a search to see what date they are planned and mark your calendar.

These are all hands on deck days. Breakfast & lunch are served to the hungry workers provided by the Club and members.  Chili pitch ins are the themes for both work party lunches. We always need a variety of chili's from various members from vegetarian, no bean to traditional chilis.  The Club provides all the fixings and drinks.
