WOW » WOW (Women on the Water) Regatta
Bring your own sailboat OR Club Sunfish. Club Interlake sailboats will also be available for prospective skippers.
The race course will be a 1 lap triangle with staggered starts for dinghies and keelboats.
No need to worry about spinnakers - they are not allowed!
Skippers Meeting: 12:00 p.m.
Harbor Gun: 12:30 p.m.
First Race: 1:00 p.m.
(Multiple races to be sailed back-to-back. No races after 4:00 p.m.)
Free dinner and drinks for RC, safety boats, skippers and their crew and their families.
Clubhouse: approx. 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Carol is making up a batch of frozen strawberry daiquiris! We will be enjoying a taco salad bar and yummy treats.
We have a goal of an all female RC and Mark Boats. Female Skippers can have male crew members. Our regatta still needs 2 mark/safety boat volunteers and race committee volunteers.
